It rained in Paris today. I’m sure it was the city crying due to our departure this afternoon (it’s ok Paris, I’ll be back soon *pats Paris on the back to comfort*). Even though the weather was miserable, Paris was a still a delight. After an unexpectedly long detour to Sephora (Mecca) and some technically unnecessary purchases which are total necessities (skincare is a basic human right), we wandered to Notre Dame (Quasimodo was nowhere to be found – so disappointed). Notre Dame is beautiful and spectacular and seriously they just do don’t architecture quite like it anymore. On our way back to the hotel we found Yves Rocher and I mauled the shelves – this is not good for my cosmetics addiction.
Anyway, I love a tasteful ripped jeans and mesh top combo, so I went with this. I like the fact that the black sweater just has mesh on the shoulders so it’s not too much. I also feel as though there are few things worse than overly ripped jeans, you know the ones I’m talking about, the ones with a gaping hole that practically starts at the crotch and ends at the ankles. I think these jeans are the appropriate level of ripped and they’re super comfy (not that comfy is what we’re going for but its a good added extra).
