OOTD Paris Edition: Doubled Up

Made it to Paris. Didn’t have to “accidentally” kick anyone in the calf to make them walk faster to the train. Haven’t had to use a public bathroom yet. This trip is starting off the right way…

I felt it only respectful and necessary to wear a Parisian brand on my arrival to this cute little city. Brand of choice? Kenzo. You’re not surprised are you? I can hear you rolling your eyes. But no, I shall not apologise for my adoration of an exceptional fashion label *hair flip*.

Pondering life’s big questions…obvs.

I got this Kenzo sweater a while back, and I haven’t seen anything like it since. I love the small slits down the side that not only add a tiny inkling of flesh into the look but create a cool tailored effect. I doubled up on the Kenzo with my new beloved espadrilles (you can read all about our romantic love story here) I’m like a walking advert, I know. The grey scuba skirt breaks up the look nicely but flows with the grey of the sweater.

Was I being a little optimistic about the weather by bare-legging it? Yes. Did I grin and bear it all for the love of fashion? Of course.

If you care at all: Had a pretty chilled day exploring the city (mainly the shops on Avenue Montaigne & Rue Saint Honore), ate at L’Avenue (delicious), visited old Mona (Lisa – if you really needed help) and went to see that pointy thing on 4 legs everyone goes on about (it’s pretty huge).
