Your girl (me) went to an event at the Monica Vinader store at Duke of York Square held by the ladies of Fashion Foie Gras and Mademoiselle Robot. It was pretty cool, Monica Vinader has just launched The Linear Collection, which is possibly my fave ’cause all four sides of the bracelet can be engraved, so it can read a tiny story, a poem or even song lyrics. If you ever want to get me a present, get me the rose gold Linear bracelet on chain with the following engraving:
“I whip yo head boi, you know that I will. I whip yo head boi, with the back of the steel.”
~ from the highly underrated 50 Cent song: I whip yo head.
Lol jokes, I’m not joking, sorry not sorry.
Basically, when deciding what to wear I forced myself to wear some form of bright colour as we are in “summer”. Evidently, that colour was yellow. But, as you know, I’m not one for wearing all bright colours, I’m 5″5 there’s too much happening in one relatively small area if I dress like a walking crèche. I also had the burning desire to take my lace up Stuart Weitzmans out for their first walk so I had to incorporate those somehow.
Here’s a fun fact about the polo shirt I’m wearing: I’ve had that little rumplestiltskin of a t-shirt since I was 15. That’s some good going, almost as impressive as the Burberry t-shirt I had since I was 11 which lasted me until I was 18 (true story).
