High-octane jewel tones and swathes of silk, take notes for Spring/Summer because the Fausto Puglisi SS16 Show laid it down for day one of Milan Fashion Week.
There was an obvious mix of feminine flimsy billowing soft light materials and the bad-ass hard edge of leather, hardware, studs and clunky cowboy boots. So much of this collection makes me think of Dynasty, as in the show. As in the show with the fabulous women wearing fabulous 80s get up with deep, beautiful Jewel tones in silk and they had names like Krystle and Alexsis and Fallon. Basically this collection reminds me of being married to an oil tycoon with a jealous bitch of an ex-wife…

I’m dying over the fluro silks, the blazer-dresses and the bomber jackets slay and I’m loving the Grecian inspiration throughout the collection. Is anyone else obsessed with these beautiful candy colours!? Watching this show was like walking into a super Versailles candy store with beautifully intense colours hypnotising me into early onset diabetes…or a fashion overdose. I have taken the liberty of naming some of these glorious colours: hazed lavender, buttercup yellow, ‘Donatella Blonde’ white, aqu-whaaat, ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ red and ‘My Lawn is on LSD’ green. The luxury of silk upgrades a casual outfit and so much of this collection is super wearable and Versailles. My fave look has to be the green and lilac look with the shirt and twisted skirt with the studded waist belt (literally) pulling it all together…killing it.
