So I went ahead and did it, I went and ordered a pair of Nike iDs. I don’t know why it took me so long but I am now the proud owner of a pair of Nike iD Jordans. Now, wanna know what pisses me off? The fact that Air Jordans aren’t being made in women’s sizes – Nike has got to be missing a trick on this one, cause the ghetto girls need their unofficial footwear. BUT, if you iD them you can choose women’s sizes so, you know your girl hopped up on the web and got her sneaker designer on.
So here’s what I was after: a pair of simple, but super swag, throw on, bounce out sneakers. The Jordans style I chose was the ‘Spizike’ and I decided to go all monochrome on them but you know me I can have things too simple so the body of the shoe is in the ‘stingray’ leather, so there’s a super subtle patent edge to the shoe. I love the fact that you can have your initials embroidered into the shoe and they had to pop so fluro orange for those. Ok so, clicked confirm and all that, oh also you can still return them if you hate them even though they’re custom which I thought was super good from Nike.

So the sneakers took about 2.5 weeks to be made and I paid very close attention to the UPS tracking – these sneakers passed through every goddam worldwide post office but thats besides the point. They arrived, the perfect size (true to size), super comfy, my initials popping on the white leather. There’s something about Jordans, I get how people get obsessed with them (tiptoein’ in Ma Jordans) I’m super protective of them but maybe that’s because they’re custom…
Downside? I wish you could customise with more characters. If I could have have So Versailles on the back of the shoe, I would have died…ugh, perfection.
