NYC Travel Diary: Day 7&8 w/ OOTD

Boxing Day means one thing to me and that thing is not turkey sandwiches (I don’t do sandwiches), it means sales. And I was on a goddamn mission. If I do say so myself, I was a machine, transformer-level  and I stormed everywhere I wanted to assault with my cash in 4 hours – that’s a personal best.

That evening I’d booked us into Buddakan. This is the place where Carrie & Big had their rehearsal dinner in Sex and The City (The Movie) where Samantha yells “Hey dick-wad, I’m speaking” (epic moment). Buddakan is even more beautiful in person, the atmosphere is dark and sexy (weird when you’re with your parents but it’s whatever) and the food is next level delicious. I love Asian fusion and this is the best I’ve had – sorry not sorry Nobu and Hakkasan.

On day 8, I went to my appointment at Anastasia Beverly Hills (yes, the brow queen) Brow Studio in Sephora. My brows where taking up too much real estate on my face, so they needed to be taken care of, and aside from the fact that the woman who did my brows was, quite possibly, the rudest woman in New York – I was happy with the outcome. To be honest I’m surprised she didn’t sear off a brow out of spite (she seemed the type).

Wow! Buddakan looks like an amazing restaurant 🙂 I love that kind of food, maybe I’ll have to check it out when I go to NYC later this year!
