Marc Jacobs Remarcable Foundation Review

It wasn’t long ago when I reviewed the Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint and told you guys about how I’ve recently slipped down the slippery slope of foundations. I think I even mentioned the obsession stopped at medium coverage foundations and I possibly dared even to vow never to use full coverage. Well, I lied because I got a full coverage foundation and imma ’bout to lay down that Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able foundation review for you.

Just to start this off, the foundation starts at a higher price point at £37/$55 but in its defence (and I hate when people say this and lie but it’s true) you only need the tiniest bit. The applicator is weird but I love it – it’s a little metal ball that you just dab *dabs* once onto your forehead, each cheek and chin – that will be enough for your daily foundation. Then you buff that bitch in. I haven’t  tried a beauty blender with this but the finish with a brush is flawless.

The foundation lasts all day without making moves across your face and will give you that airbrushed, selfie-ready, face-tuned look we’re all after. Downsides? I’ve discovered that I may need to jump on that Botox train soon because soon after I applied it, it settled into lines I had in my forehead but I just Laura Merc’d my face (dusted with Laura Mercier translucent powder) and I was back to a youthful non-Botox-needing face.

Available from Harrods and Sephora.

Oh that is a shame it has settled into the lines on your face, though good that it lasts all day x

I know, it was a little annoying but I was so pleased with the finish I just powdered myself periodically haha x

I’m not overly keen on full coverage foundations, though I recently tried the Vichy Dermablend and that you can go lightly with for a more natural finish. Such a shame that this settled into creases – that would have to be a big no, no for me, especially at the price point. Tx
