#ITSLIT. Like actually, Jeremy Scott set that catwalk on fire with his very non-flame retardant Moschino AW16 collection. As always with Mr Scott, we know the collection will shock, leaving us in awe of his creative genius – remember when he did a whole collection based on the most chic car wash ever? Well if you don’t, it was the Moschino SS16 show and I did a post on it…so read up.
Moschino AW16 Review
As I was looking through the show pictures, I was questioning which pieces I’d actually wear or want to wear or even sharpen my elbows and deliver a strong blow to someone’s ribcage for. The first half of the collection debuted the Moschino girl gang, which was cute and badass at the same time. I’m loving the taffeta bows tied around the girls’ waists – it looks amazing and I need to deliver this look.
But I love the whole burnt concept a little more, it’s brilliant but personally, I wasn’t about to walk through fire for many of the pieces then I saw some of the last looks, and felt my throat close up, my mind racing with thoughts of “…where the hell could I actually wear this to? I NEED IT…I NEED to find somewhere to wear this to…is it a bit too extra for dinner? Maybe…but I could make it work…”
So here we are Ladies and Gentlemen, with the pieces of the Moschino AW16 collection that are everything right now.
The mirror mini dress, as I have nicknamed it, is so perfectly Versailles – I love the asymmetric sequins adorning one arm and the golden Louis XIV-looking ‘mirror’ frame. I love the way it’s styled too with the silver heels and fishnets.
Adorned with 80,000 Swarovski crystals, this dress may not be the most practical, you may never sit down the whole evening with this on but my gosh isn’t it perfect!? It’s an art piece and its magical. If I was a super successful music artist, I would slay in this bitch down the red carpet at the Grammys and watch the bodies fall.
If an outfit could be my spirit animal it would be this Swarovski skeleton look. I love watching Jeremy Scott’s shows because of the sheer level of creativity and this look just proves it. Its exceptional, I can’t get over it…I may never get over it…
