So Beyoncé went on the sly as she does regularly these days (the Beyoncé album drop, the formation video…) and decided to create an activewear line called Ivy Park. I don’t really get what it means, but it sounds cool as hell. And whilst I don’t do much to justify “activewear”, breathing is an activity so have no doubt I’ll be coping some of the line, which will be available in Topshop, Zalando, Selfridges and Net-a-Porter amongst a few international locations on 14th April.
Ivy Park
I’ve put the video of the collection for you down below, which if I do say so myself makes me feel rather crap about being as inactive as I am but whatever. In response to Beyoncé at the end of the video: my park is actually anywhere that does food which probably contributes to type 2 diabetes. The collection seems cool with a couple of pieces standing out to me, but the majority of the pieces are super simple with the Ivy Park logo. I have made some suggestions to Beyoncé based on her songs that I feel should be included in the line or have their own product line…
Drunk in Love: A wetsuit with the word “Surfboard” emblazoned on it or even better a Surfboard, with the word “Surfboard” on it. Lyrical inception.
Run the World (Girls): A pair of running trainers with the words “we run this mother” somehow incorporated into them. I would snap those up in a second.
Flawless: A make up and skincare line that will help the rest of us in our perpetual pursuit to actually ‘wake up like this’ and look flawless all day, errday.
7/11: She should have just called her line this, it would have been hilarious though she may have been slapped with a hefty lawsuit.
Pretty Hurts: A franchise of cosmetic surgery practises.
Single Ladies: A dating app where the pre-requisite is being sassy/flawless.
Crazy in Love: A line of over the counter anti-depressants.
So, tell me, what do you think of Beyoncé’s Ivy Park? And to repeat B’s question…where’s your park? Let me know in the comments.

I have just written a post about this collection. Going live on my blog tomorrow. I love everything Bey does.
That’s so cool I’ll keep an eye out for it x
I had no idea Bey brought out this line but like you said she kept it a bit hush hush! I love it though, as I’m getting back into exercising, Pilates and cardio, this is the kind of active wear I like. Her words in the video are rather inspirational but would we expect any less from her?!
I love Beyonce, haven’t had time to check out the collection yet, but just guessing it won’t be for a couch potato like me…
