Once we arrived in Paris and I realised how very much in love I was with it, we dropped our bags off at Hotel Balzac which is just off the Champs-Elysees, and is a super cute but super Versailles boutique hotel, and I got my priorities straight…Sephora. After spending too long in there, wandering down Avenue Montaigne, going to the wrong L’Entrecote (google Le Relais de Venise and go if you haven’t) and encountering a very old and wizened gang-affiliated old woman we went to dinner.

So, Monsieur Bleu is a must if you go to Paris. I’m obsessed, it’s super chic but not snooty and every member is staff looks like they should be modelling, and not in the strange Lily Cole way but the Victoria’s Secret model way, the boys too. The meal was…*sigh*…immaculate, I had pork and the smoothest creamiest goddamn mashed potatoes I’ve had in my life and some deconstructed cheesecake that was super delicious. It was glorious.
