I could start this off with an elaborate lie about how I’d dreamt up the concept of this OOTD shoot, how I’d created a Pinterest board about it and researched locations before I got to Igls (Austria), but the reality is we went for a walk in a park and I thought “this will do”. You can tell how truly unprepared I am for this by looking at the state of my hair (which I really shouldn’t be drawing attention to), because let’s be honest, it’s been better.
This look is super casual, but believe me, this was me “dressing up” considering for the previous 5 days I’d been living in a towelling robe. I should be ashamed of myself to be honest, the older women at the retreat all dressed up for dinner, some in heels and everything (to consume the 50g of protein and a vegetable soup, thrilling), whilst I literally swanned in, dragging my heels in oversized Victoria’s Secret Pink tracksuit bottoms and a large sweater – really classy Ca$$ie, well done.
Jacket – DSquared2
Turtle Neck – The White Company
Necklace – Versace, similar here
Jeans – Topshop
High Tops – Gucci
Anyway, back to this look. The DSquared2 bomber is back, because it’s not going anywhere and it’s my go-to outfit elevator of the moment, but this time things had gotten a little chilly so I wore a turtle neck and matched the silver detailing of the jacket with my necklace. I got some Gucci sneakers at the airport on the way out that I’m obsessed with because they’re the perfect high top – not bulky, slim fitting, a nice toe shape (not round, not pointed) and simple black, but with a little something something in the embossed Gucci logo emblazoned. I love them. They’re classic…if you can say sneakers are classic.
